SUPERFAST BUSINESS BROADBAND

Fibre FTTC
Fibre Broadband, also known as Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC), helps businesses meet the ever growing requirements of bandwidth-hungry applications. With download speeds of up to 200Mbps and upload speeds of up to 20Mbps, this technology offers the kind of performance previously available only via costly private data circuits.
Unlike other service providers, we only provide broadband to business customers. We deliver high quality networks that are reliable, secure and resilient to high demand. This means that you will always receive the best data speeds that your line can achieve without being constrained by the limitations of the service provider's network.
Vision can provide a range of business grade solutions that help you make the most of your Fibre Broadband line including Hosted VoIP, SIP Trunks, VPN and data storage.
Fibre FTTP
How does FTTP differ to Superfast Fibre Broadband?
FTTP provides a fibre optic connection all the way from the telephone exchange to your premises, whereas traditional Fibre Broadband or FTTC is a Fibre connection to your local on-street cabinet, then a Copper connection from the cabinet to your premises. FTTP's 100% Fibre connection offers lightning speeds and improves the performance of your internet connection.
Once we have checked your line we will be able to tell you if you can benefit from FTTP. But don’t worry, you could still benefit from Superfast Fibre Broadband FTTC.

LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE BUSINESS FIBRE SOLUTION?
Fibre to Cabinet (FTTC)
FTTC is a half way house between ADSL (using copper all the way from the exchange to your premises) and FTTP (using fibre all of the way). The copper broadband signal degrades over distance but the fibre signal does not so the greater the distance covered by fibre the better. All telephony radiates from the BT exchange via underground cables to green street cabinets. From these it is either carried underground or via telegraph poles to your premises. By switching from copper to the cabinet to fibre it is possible to drastically reduce the copper length and provide superior performance.

Fibre to the premises (FTTP)
FTTC fibre broadband - The ultimate broadband technology but with very limited availability. Speeds up to 330Mb using a technology capable of gigabit speeds holds fantastic promise for the future. FTTP uses fibre all of the way from the exchange to your premises. With fibre there is no loss of speed over distance so the location of your premises in relation to the exchange or street cabinet ceases to matter.
