What do I need to get 5g?
- O2 Tariff
- A 5G capable device accredited to the O2 5G network.
O2’s current range includes; Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G.
You can also bring any other 5G device to O2 and use it with a 5G SIMO tariff
- A new 5G SIM.
5G SIMs are only for 5G devices – putting one in a 4G device will cause it not to connect to certain bands and affect the signal strength.
- The new 5G Access bolt on added to their subscription, without the need to change their contract.
- 5G Access is also compatible with Single Business Tariffs.
- Finally the customer will need to be in a 5G coverage area
